| Help, my toadstool coral had his base pinched off in a small rockslide. What do I do?He opens up great still but is kinda free sitting,Can I superglue him to a base.I've heard of people fragging(splitting) them??

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Is the tissue of the coral fine, but just not attached to the live rock it was on anymore? Can you post a pic?

Did the accident cut the base in 2 or did it knock the whole coral off the rock. Shouldn't be a big deal either way. Sarcophyton (toadstool) corals are very slimey and hard to glue. What I'd try would be to rubberband it to piece of rock. Don't make the bands too tight but tight enough to hold the coral and rock solidly together. It should start to reattach in about +/-3 days. If there is still some of the base left on the original rock, make sure it continues to get good light and water flow and you may get a clone out of the deal.

The rubber band thing ought to work just fine for that. It should reattach soon and then the rubber band can be removed.
