First off I appreciate what your tech people do, I am the one in the family that gets called and growled at when something goes wrong.

The search limits are driving me nuts, it took forever to search for info. on insects as food and I gave up when I tried to switch to earthworms.

There is so much information buried in the forums, that will never see use.

Thank you for the work you are doing.

Hi,

We've corrected the error and you should not get that message any longer. As for the search being slow, for the amount of information it is searching and number of topics it returns, we think that the time is average.

We cannot change the speed of the search function, it is something that is built into the forum program. We do have plans to switch to a new forum program (way in the future) so maybe this will speed up a little.

Thanks! It seems to be working just fine now...no more error messages. I did three searches in less than two minutes (they took about 30 seconds each and let me search immediately after). Nice work!

Ooh, it would be great if you got that working too. That will really bring people back here. Can you add an option in the control panel to automatically subscribe to all threads you post in? That way you don't have to click subscribe every time you post.

Thanks Hailey. The email notification is being worked on. That's a good idea you have, we'll see if we can do it.
