I lost one female and then 4 days later bam and then next day bam!!! Lost little Renoir and then the last female guppy

We named him Renoir because of his pretty yellow's and blue's he looked like a sparkly paintbrush. I believe he was just an adolescent as he was very small. He was very rambunctious bursting with energy & lots of personality. He was my first guppy I was really excited to see if I'd get fry, but he was silly and much perferred the sunburst platies colors, to the black and silver female guppies . I hope to have guppies again, but for now he will be missed, he was a lot of fun to watch. I wished I had gotten a picture of him. We'd only had him and the girls less then a month, that is why the females didn't even get names yet. The picture below is exactly what he looked like though, of course in person he had that metallic glow that guppies have. Very handsome

P.S. it's in my sig too, but some of you have that disabled from viewing so just attatched to see how pretty he was!

Thank you Hailey and thank you for all your great suggestions and feed back as always. You are very knowledgable and I really trust your advise!

I'm glad they put this new forum space up, it's good to be able to say how you feel. I get attatched very quickly I was sad when my fry died too. I do however know that fish keeping is demanding and know the risks so I don't take it too hard It just feels bad when you feel it's too late to do anything. Well I'ts starting to look like a novel again, lol can you tell I'm from a big family. We talk a lot and usually over each other so I can go on and on lol. Now I have a smile on my face so I'll depart with that

R.I.P. guppy friends

So sorry to hear that your precious guppy died, some of my fish died too. Here are they:
Serena, my first fish (Sunset Swordtail that died at about the August of 2007, from having babies that died later too)
Mickey (male Mickey Mouse Platy, died around September or November of 2007)
There was an orange and black goldfish I did not name because it died the day after I got it
Tutenstein (Goldfish that died yesterday, because he got stuck in the tank's filter, I got him out, but sadly the fan in the filter cut his skin and he died)
OK, that's about it for fishy R.I.P. incidents. I have some healthy living fish right now, though:
Bubbles (A orange and white goldfish that was named because she swims by the bubbles in the tank all the time)
Dolphin (silver male molly that was named because he swims like a dolphin)
And last but not least,
Kaimana (Sunset Swordtail that swims like a shark, and her name means "power of the ocean" in Haiwaiian)
I still feel sorry for the fishies in fishy heaven, but I love the sweet little fishies I have now!
