| Raw Video: Fish Flies for 45 Seconds May 21 - A Japanese TV crew has filmed what is believed to be the longest ever flight of a flying fish caught on camera. The fish is out of the water for 45 seconds.
This is pretty remarkable. The fish is actually flying. I always thought they just left the water and glided. I've seen many of them and the ones I've seen only stay out of the water for a couple of seconds.

That really is just too cool! We see flying fish all the time out fishing/sailing but with the same results as FM. If you see one out of the water for more than 5 seconds or so that's cause for oooooos and aaaahhhhhhs. That's just amazing!
So many species, so little money!

That is unbelievable! It looks like a bird (are we sure it isn't?). Thanks for sharing it. I actually had the same reaction Hailey. The video isn't the best quality and it is difficult to tell 100% that it is a fish. I guess we just have to go on the word of those that were there. F.M.
