There's not much in the way of fish you can put in it because it is very small (maybe one firefish or a clown goby). You'd be better off going all inverts, especially since you are new to this (small tanks like this are very hard to keep stable even for experts, and there is a steep learning curve for saltwater beginners). Were you going to try to make it a reef?

That's too much bioload for the tank and the tank offers too little room for territory for them. The absolute most I would do would be one small clownfish. Are you planning on any invertebrates (including corals and such)?

OK, no corals (good...it is hard to keep them alive in such small tanks). In that case I would just go for one small fish like either of the ones you were looking at, along with the snails and crab. Are you going to have live rock? I highly recommend it.
