These guys live in my 55 gallon, along with a school of Tiger Barbs and Odessa Barbs.



I don't suffer from Multi-tank syndrome, I enjoy it!

nice looking fish, but are highly aggressive and should not be mixed with any other species than mbunas. and have a ratio of 1/m 3-4/f. there are very few mbuna's that can be kept in a community tank. you may have some luck if you have lots of rock and hiding places but i know if i were to put barbs in my tank they would be dead in a matter hours. and on another note you could get another 30gallon or bigger tank and have a nice mbuna tank, they are very colorful and often comical to watch

I agree. The large tank sure does help prevent the smaller fish from being killed though. How many cichlids do you have in that tank.
