Does anyone know of a cheap and easy way to make an aquarium lid at home. I just inherited a 15 gallon long, but I didn't get a lid. My dad made me one for my ten gallon, but that was when he had a classroom full of engineers-to-be, as well as easy access to building materials.

You could always go to Lowes and get a piece of plexiglass cut to fit. Then sit a light fixture on that. Don't forget to measure the opening for the filter and other equipment.
I don't suffer from Multi-tank syndrome, I enjoy it!
