I like eels a lot and was thinking about getting one soon.  I really like the one that is in that picture on the "Come visit your friends at Fish Channel.com" if you ever go on Reptile, Small Animal, Cat, Dog, Bird, or Horse Channel.  If not, scroll down to the very bottom of the page and got to one and you'll see it.  It is on the sidebar on the right.  Anyway, I want to know what size tank that type would need, what to feed them, tankmates (if any), and any other information you can think of.

10 Gallon Planted Creek:
3 Balloon Mollies (Helium + Clementine + Bri)
6 Harlequin Rasboras (The Bike Gang)
3 Kuhli Loaches (Jamal + Lashawna + Devontae)

2.5 Gallon Planted Zen Garden:
1 Male Veiltail Betta (Kobe)

2.5 Gallon Planted Buddha Shrine:
1 Male Crowntail Betta (Colin)

Other Pets:

0.1.1 High Contrast Carrot Tail and Rainwater Albino Leopard Geckos (Eublapharis macularius), Oz and Chance
1.0 Yellow Harlequin Dalmation Crested Gecko (Rhacodactylus ciliatus), Chaos
1.0 Chinese Hamster (Cricetulus griseus), Roho

The photo changes so I can't see it right now. It is likely some sort of moray eel, so do a google photo search for that and you should find a photo like it.

I don't know much about those other than the fact that they are one of the larger (1.5+ meters), more aggressive, less appropriate for captivity eels. I would read through this article and perhaps consider picking another type of moray. http://www.wetwebmedia.com/morays.htm

Thanks!  This was actually for my friend, and when he saw that they get that big he found Snowflake Moray Eels which are much more managable (get up to 2 feet long and can be in a 50 -75 gallon).  He is going to look into those more.
