I,ve been fiddling with the spreadsheet a bit more and came across an interesting formula that relates to the maximum level of wastes a given aquarium system will possess. Despite that the base formula is a series, the formula can be simplified down to a rational expression. Anywho, I incorporated it as means to predict the catostrophic failure point of a given aquarium system--assuming that a fairly average aquarium should receive a thorough flush at least once every 2 years or so.
