I have 3 zebra danios i know that 2 are females and that one is a male, just judging by the plumpness of each fish.  I have read that they randomly drop their eggs when water conditions change. i have a 10 gallon tank with all the essentials.  I have read that i should cover the bottom with marbles or a very coarse gravel so that the eggs can fall through but so the parents can't get to them.                                                                                                                                             Has anyone else bred them?????

Here is a link to a website that tells you how to breed them: http://www.geocities.com/aquariumd/zebra.html.  It may help you to get a few more females.  Like humans, some fish can be a little picky when it come to their mates.  If you get a few more females, the chance that one of them will find the male attractive will increase.  If that doesnt work, try getting another couple of males.
