All corals I've had shipped arrived next day air and had to be picked up at the hub. I've never had a coral shipped that was in transit longer than about 12 hours. 3 days can't be good!!! Who did you buy from that is making this shipment? Is it actually in transit or is it just taking that long to ship? I'd be calling the provider and raising heck if it's been on a truck for 3 days!! Especially with the temperatures being so cold lately.

I have been it is the stupied us post office that is shipping them.  They were like I don't know what the problem is and are going to refund the price of the shipping to the shipper but wich i am shure once refunded as par with there policy i will get refunded. but it is still agervating to have something you are looking forward to sit and die on some stupied truck.  I am also supose to get a call when it gets into the main office at 8 to 11pm tonite.                              and all that.

Coral in, and looks like some one put 5 rocks in then farted in bag(and not a dry fart).  Bag was cold enough to chill my tea also. still put in tank to see if by some chance that something makes it.

I'd be wary of sellers who are using the USPS to ship live animals. FedEx is the only carrier I'd trust with live animals other then some of the airlines who can get it there same day.

I'd have to agree with jsmith11618. I've never bought livestock from anyone who offered anything but next day air/parcel pick-up. Most reputable companies even recomend next day for live rock! Who is the seller?

don't want to bash seller cause he is being very helpfull and don't want ruin that.  But will have to insist on next day air.  Does anyone know a basic price for next day air that would be a good.  Don't want another bad experience.  But on the brighter side the post office is offering full refund and coverage of price up to $100.00  so I will at least get my money back.

Shipping will vary greatly, will depend on where you are and where the seller is, whether the seller is paying a negotiated rate, or regular street rate etc.

You can use Fedex.com and use a rate calculator to determine what the street rate is from the seller to you.
