I was on the forum almost immediately before it went down, and everything important had been answered. I hope anyone who needed it saw the answers though. Oh well, let's not make the staff feel bad about it by dwelling on it...a glitch is a glitch, and no one's fault.

I was wondering what happened that my posts went down from 48 to 27.Site acting up explains it.Hope you can get everything fixed so it doesn't happen again.

Thought maybe I had dreamed those posts, LOL. Sounds kinda like a case of server ick. Stuff happens.

They do know what caused it. It won't happen again. That server is no longer in use. FishChannel is the only channel that has not been fixed fully. They were able to restore the missing posts to the other channels. We were the first to go down, and down the longest.

It sounds like there still MAY be hope to recover the info. We take precautions so this doesn't happen and of course we never want it to happen again, but I guess with technology, you never know!

That's too bad. There were so many threads and responses. Not your fault though...just bad luck. Do they know what caused the original issue so it won't be likely to happen again?

We are VERY sorry everyone. At this point it does not look like we will be able to recover the information. Guess we just have to keep trucking!
