Have you been providing an ammonia source? Cycling a tank doesn't just mean running it without fish for awhile. Hailey's got an excellent article on cycling around here somewhere, if you need it.

The tank has already been running for a while with no fish. Thanks for the advice. I think I'll try that setup.

It's pushing the stocking limits just a bit, but I think that would be fine. I'd do one dwarf gourami (two males may fight in such a small tank, and females typically are not sold in stores because they are pretty boring looking...just gray/silver), six neon tetras, and three panda cories. Are you going to fishless cycle? I highly recommend it.

I have an old 10 gallon tank that I want to get going again. I was thinking of getting 1-2 Dwarf Gouramis, 3-4 Panda Cories, and maybe some Neon Tetra. Do you think this setup will work? If not, does anyone have any suggestions?
