I think that it would be cool to do a tanks of danios and cories. I have noticed that if you get a few different species of cories and danios, they will often swim together, so you could get at least three of each species you want.

RE: 20 gallon community

Hailey's also got a stocking list for 10 gallons, which includes a lot of the fish you mentioned, you'd just have a lot more room to play with. MOA also has a stocking spreadsheet that works fairly well too. They're at the very top of all the forums, I think. This has a link for 20gallon tanks that has suggestions for fish. It includes most of the fish that you mention. The one caution I would have is on the Tiger Barbs. They are very active and can be very nippy fish. You need to have a school of at least 6 so that they don't bother the other fish as much. I don't think I would put them with the small tetras like cardinals, neons or glowlights.

20 gallon community

All right. It has been several years since I have had a smaller community tank and don't really remember the rules as fish size goes. I have a 20 gallon tank (regular 20) and at the moment it has feeder goldfish for my turtle. I want to turn it into a community tank and have begun researching the fish I havn't had in a while. I am looking into these types of fish..can someone give me a fish list for the tank?

tiger barbs, cories, zebra/leaopard danios, neon tetras, cardinal tetras, guppies, platies, oto cats,....and a few more I can't really remeber.

any more suggestions...?

ps Not all those fish will be in the same tank its just the ones I was looking at...I'm not a complete idiot =p

Thanks.

-Kevin
