Banjo cats usually come from soft/acid water, and 7.5 pH may have been a shock. How did you acclimate the fish?

Banjo Catfish

I just picked up a banjo catfish yesterday. I aclimated him into my 75 gallon tank:

Temp: 77.6

pH:7.6

Nitrates: 0

Nitrites: 0

Ammo: 0

This morning he was doing the roll of death then went to the bottom and moved around the tank by drifting with the current. I caught him and moved him into my hosp. tank made up of the same water as the 75. I treated with some salt and stress coat...any suggestions?

Thanks
