I know what you mean by "bent" -- although a photo would help us out. This happens to cichlids sometimes. The other day one of my 2.5" Hans discus started behaving like that -- nothing I could do, since I didn't know what the problem was. I am really against the practice of treating fish with anything, other than a water change, unless you know what you are treating for. My small discus was fine in a day or two -- I have no idea what the problem was. I have him in a net close to the surface (which seems to help a little bit), away from the others. My pH is 7.4, no NH3/4. no NO2, and my nitrates are at 10 ppm.
