I have to say that I have only lost a few things and most of that was because I have a seabea anemone that could swallow my fist. the only fish i have in the tank is a maroon clown that loves his anemone. With imporved filtration and extra space I feal that I used less live rock and had gotten great results. There is a lot to say about live framing. But you have to like building just as much as reef keeping to do live framing.

RE: live framing?

Wow, interesting. Then you attach corals to the rocks. You can drill holes through the pvc tubes to create caves and passage ways for currents.

RE: live framing?

I'm assuming that the "Live Framing" article you are referring to was the one in the Marine Fish And Reef (MARU) USA 2008 Annual. If it is, you'll find the author's email in the "Put a Cap On It" sidebar.

F.M.

RE: live framing?

I am thinking that no one here knows what "live framing" is. I know I have no idea, unless that is another way of saying something I am familiar with. Sorry.

RE: live framing?

I would also like to know that and more importantly how I would do it in a 250 gal tank. I want to use the idea as a filler and to hide some equipment. Any help would be much appreciated thnx.

live framing?

i've been thinking of live framing my nano reef tank, but i don't know that much about it or whether it's worthwhile in the end. does anyone have any info on liveframing other than what was in the recent magazine issue?
