Do Lace Catfish need to be kept in groups?  If they do, then how many?

46 gal/ 4 Clown Loaches, 4 Skunk Loaches and 1 "mystery" fish that looks like a Skunk Loach.  1 Pleco, 1 Lace Catfish, 6 Rosy barbs, 6 Tiger barbs, and 1 Black Mystery Snail.

1 gal/ 1 female Betta

The term "Lace Catfish" can be for the Synodontis Nigrita or the Synodontis Eupterus.  The Synodontis Eupterus will get about 7 inches and the Synodontis Nigrita will get about 9+ inches.  Both can also be kept alone, but perfer to be in pairs or more.  They will get big, so a large tank it definately needed.  They are also very nitrAte sensitive, so you will need to stay on top of the water changes.

Hi,

Welcome to the forums. [] Here is a great site on your Catfish and other species of them.

Are their other inhabitants in your tank?
