Greetings everyone, upon receiving a small collection of Freshwater and Marine Aquarium back issues I discovered this site. Reason for joining the forums includes learning what ever the community has to offer and to share what little that I do understand. Being a quasi-lifetime aquarium hobbyist
(13/18 years) there is still an infinity worth of information to be had just over this subject (makes it hard to corner the market), I still consider myself a novice. The family owns a 473 L stocked with over-grown specimens (including a vegetarian Tiger Shovel-Nose catfish, 61cm) * i did not sanction to have such a large fish being tortured in such a way*. Personally i own a 75 L with a female and male Xenopus laevis and a 132 L community tank that include a favorite of mine, Chromobotia macracanthus, as well as others. I have future hopes of a planted species tank for breeding and observing, but at the moment my hands and feet are tied with spawning Xenopus laevis . My name is Jon Smith, and I'm looking forward.

Welcome to The FishChannel.com.

Are your frogs breeding? Maybe you could post something about them on the inverts forum. Look forward to your posts.

The frogs last spawned about 3 1/2 months ago, so it wont be another 3 weeks until the female is ready (the male is always ready), I have some video that needs to be edited before i start to really posting anything about them, I got some great footage w/ the male singing, such a sound. Also, thanks to everyone for their welcomes.
