I was wondering if there was an easy (in terms of anenomes), smaller, and compatible anenome for two common clownfish?  If anyone has any suggestions, please reply.  I will do research on the species, but if you could provide some general information that would be great.

10 Gallon Planted:

1 Pearl Gourami (Mario)

3 Balloon Mollies (Helium + Shadow + Clementine)

4 Harlequin Rasboras (The Bike Gang)

1 Otocinclus (Survivor)

10 Gallon Planted Nursery:

Balloon Molly Fry (No names)

Balloon Mollys (Shadow + Clementine)

2 Gallon:

1 Female Balloon Molly Fry (The Chosen One) because the nursery is still cycling and all its fry siblings got eaten by their parents in a freak accident

1/2 Gallon:

1 Male Crowntail Betta (Colin)

Other Pets:

Female High Contrast Lavender Leopard Gecko (Eublapharis macularius), Oz

Unknown Sex Yellow Harlequin Dalmation Crested Gecko (Rhacodactylus ciliatus), Chaos

Male Chinese Hamster (Cricetulus griseus), Roho

The only one that fits that profile is the bubble tip anemone.

I've heard some contraversy about this but: do you need to feed anemones when they are hosting a clownfish?  If anyone knows please reply.

It depends on your lighting. If the clownfish are just supplementing the symbiotic photosynthetic organisms that give the anemone the bulk of its food, you probably won't need to feed it directly. However, if your tank is not well lit enough, or the clownfish don't feed the anemone, you will need to feed it.

Thanks for replying, but I think I may try to hold off on the anemone for a while, and save its life.

Good idea. Get some experience under your belt (at least a year with a saltwater tank would be good) and then give a BTA a try. I really wouldn't attempt any of the other host anemones at all, with the possible exception of the LTA (long tentacled anemone) in a larger tank.
