| I have an old 10 gallon tank that I want to get going again. I was thinking of getting 1-2 Dwarf Gouramis, 3-4 Panda Cories, and maybe some Neon Tetra. Do you think this setup will work? If not, does anyone have any suggestions?

It's pushing the stocking limits just a bit, but I think that would be fine. I'd do one dwarf gourami (two males may fight in such a small tank, and females typically are not sold in stores because they are pretty boring looking...just gray/silver), six neon tetras, and three panda cories. Are you going to fishless cycle? I highly recommend it.

| The tank has already been running for a while with no fish. Thanks for the advice. I think I'll try that setup.

Have you been providing an ammonia source? Cycling a tank doesn't just mean running it without fish for awhile. Hailey's got an excellent article on cycling around here somewhere, if you need it.

| That sounds like a lot of fish for a 10 gallon tank.
