I just noticed that my member status changed to "Fishkeeping GURU"...cute...lol. I have no idea how long it has been that way. What post count do people need to hit to get it?

| I noticed your status changed two weeks back. Well deserved title IMO. You help more people, and know more about fish then anyone else I know.

Thank you! That's so sweet.
I can't believe I didn't notice for two weeks though. I guess I'm not the most observant person on the planet.

i noticed the title about a month ago when you gave me advice about a "shark attack" problem i was having. i sure appreciated your help, but i've since lost my khuli loach due to a temperature rise during a power outage while i was at work. the temp went way up before i got home, six hrs later. i sure hated to lose her/him.

I'm sorry for your loss. Unfortunately we do occasionally encounter those truly unforseeable events in this hobby.

I think it is a fitting title Hailey.
I have since per your advice sent my auratus and Silver arowana back to the fish store. I kept my salvini and got a firemouth cichlid for a tank mate. My salvini is used to other fish in the tank as he used to belong to my dad's community fish tank before he switched to discus.

I'm glad things are going well with your tank. That sounds like a good mix to me, and depending on the tank size you may be able to add another medium sized semi-aggressive cichlid or two.
