Does anyone have any suggestions for snails? I am planning to put them in a tank by themselves and let them breed. What would be the best food to feed them? I know that they like plants/algae, but is there any specific kind of food that makes them more likely to breed?

What kind of snails are they? This will make the big difference in the advice you need for breeding them.
Most every snail will eat the same things, and they really appreciate fresh foods in addition to any algae in your tanks. Veggies like zucchini and squash are usually pretty well recieved, and anything high in calcium will be a big help to your snails' shell maintenance.
Also, do you happen to know what the gH of your water is? (hardness)

U r right FattFishy. I was in a hurry and forgot that we had a invert section.  I dont know how to move topics, but maybe one of the moderators can. By the way, they are ramshorn snails, and I have 2 of them.

If they're ramshorns, they've probably already laid their first batch of eggs, assuming you have a female. The egg batches look like contact lenses stuck to the glass with some dots in them. Ramshorns won't be much of a fan of any green algae, although they will eat some of it. They like brown algae a lot, and as stated before, they'll love fresh veggies once in awhile. Other than that, just let them do their thing.

Sorry, but I dont know what the hardness is. We dont have any fish stores near where I live that has a good selection of testing kits. What kinds of food have good amounts of calcium that the snails would eat?

Anything that's a very dark green color, usually, especially the leafy stuff like spinach and whatnot. Ramshorns won't need it quite as much as would something like a mystery snail though. Ramshorns are pretty tough. Your hardness shouldn't be too much of a problem for them either, unless yours is REALLY low. Just pay attention for a few weeks, and if you notice their shells getting holes or anything like that, I'll give you some ways to raise your hardness a little bit.
