I just got one of these today from my LFS and it is really cool. I am probably going to go back tomorrow to get another. I was just wandering if they can move themselves, becuase mine seems to drift around the tank and cling on rocks and the powerhead? And do they require any special care?

I've never had any luck with these at all. They supposedly require at least medium light (minimum 2.5-3 watts per gallon), but even with that, CO2 injection, fertilization, etc I can't keep them alive more than a few weeks. And they don't move...the current no doubt just carried the plant where it landed.

| They can be hard to keep if you do not have the right conditions. In my one tank they grow well. In my other two tanks they end up dying. I would try them again but they are expensive. Once you get them started they will grow like crazy. They form "lilly pads" at the top of long shoots. Once they are rooted, I do not advise moving them. Mine grew very long roots after about 3 months. When I had to move the tank and clean it out, I broke the roots and the plant died. I am looking for a good site for information for you. I will be back later if I find one.
