My yellow tang has been doing perfectly fine untill today. I came home to find him bouncing around eratically non stop. I came back 20 min later to find  a big white stripe across his stomach on both sides mixed with some brown coloring below and above the the white line.

I checked all my levels and they a perfectly fine! can anyone please tell me what is wrong or what i can do!

By "perfectly fine" do you mean .25 ammonia as in your other post about the ich? Again, that is not fine for saltwater. Freshwater fish are far more resistant to ammonia than saltwater ones and that is definitely a contributing factor for the ich. Also, the fact that this tank is too small for the tangs is likely a contributing factor. What it comes down to is that your set up is not adequate for the fish you have in it, and is not yet fully cycled.

As for the specific disease issues, I suspect a parasite (probably the ich you saw on other fish, possibly something else but I am not too familiar with saltwater diseases), and the white stripe is probably an injury from the tang zooming around the tank and scraping up against something. This fish and the others need to be treated IMO, but that is going to be very difficult to do effectively without the hospital/quarantine tank I suggested in the other thread.

Sounds to me that the tang is very stressed, not necessarily by any disease or parasite. Did you add anything new to the tank, or is there anything going on around the tank that might spook the fish?

Or outside of the tank for that matter. Was the tank previously in a low traffic are and is it now in a high traffic area?
Also, ammonia is much more toxic at high pHlevels so thats a contributing factor.
What fish and inverts are in the tank?

i would like to say thx for all the responses! all my fish are doing fine. I dont know what happend but none of my fish have any sighns of ich. there are no visible sighns of small white dots. i checked my amonia levels and they are at 0.00. I also took a couple of big pieces of live rock out of my tank to give the tangs more room. as of today they look just fine. I also noticed that the yellow tang gets that white stripe across his stomach when i turn off my lights for an x amount of time, when i turn the lights back on it goes away. once again thx for the quick responses!

The white stripes are probably internal coloration that shows up when the fish bleaches, either because of the lights being off (to blend in at night for safety) or because of stress (probably the stress when you were seeing them earlier). As for the spots going away, please keep in mind that the lifecycle of ich involves the parasites all dropping off the fish (generally at about the same time) to reproduce and find new hosts, and then they can come back ten times worse. It is possible for the fish to spontaneously get better, but also possible that you will see the ich come back full force so keep an eye out.
