Can you put a Bubble Eye in a small Pond ? There going to be other Goldfish that have gotten to big for the tank they are in. Currently there is a few Koi in there. My wife seems to think he may have problems.

Bubble Eye are poor swimmers and have poor eye sight
So IMHO I would say no to mixing with larger faster fish like Koi

I agree with Rick. Bubble eyes will most likely starve in a pond with faster fish due to the fact that they have poor eyesight. I'm no expert on goldfish though.

not to bring up an old topic for nothing, but, if the bubble eye was in the pond with nothing but other bubble-eyes and a relatively low current, it would probably work.
