| I have come to a realization that the fish I love so much, the 6 lined wrasse, just wasn't meant for me. I put my third one in on Saturday and have not seen it since. I have the pgymy angel and a sailfin tang. Has anyone else had the same bad luck with the wrasse? I think it is such a beautiful fish, but they sure don't seem to be happy to want to stay around very long for me. I feel horrible that three have died on me.

| It is a 70 gallon tank and yes it is covered. When I put it in on Saturday afternoon, it swam a little while and then it hid and never to be found again. I am baffled for the third time. And water is great and temp is great. The tang and angel are having a great time!

The tang and angel are having a great time! wrasses often go unseen for a few days before they become active in a tank... just getting used to new water conditions. if your water checks in fine, just wait a while and see if it comes out.

| I haven't tried a 6-line, however the last wrasse I tried jumped out of the tank and just happened to accurately find a 4 inch, non covered area of my tank. They are extremely strong swimmers, and get VERY VERY active. SO have you looked around and behind the tank

That is exactly what I had happen with mine. I brought it home from the LFS put it in the tank, It hid in the live rock for a while as most of new fish do, I showed my gf that same day by picking up some of the rock to show her and never seen him since..... that was 4 months ago
