| just put 4 threadfins in my tank and the fins look horrible.anything i can do to make them more attractive?

| Where they like that before? If so in the proper water conditions their fins will heal. Just let them heal by themselves, it's like cutting yourself your body just needs time and you will be back to normal. For ascetics there is nothing you can do tin the meantime.

well, if they're not injured, they're just naturally like that. There's really nothing you can do about it. Hmm...threadfins. Might be possible for my new 10 gallon.

For the best viewing results, Threadfins should be kept in a school of equal ratio of males to females. The femals will form up in a group with the males taking up positions around the females and then the Flashing begins. I have a scholl of 6 females and 6 males, and the males are constantly displaying. Also the females don't get the threadfin look. They are like most wild animals, the females look drab and the males get the long finnage and bright colors.
