I have a 2.5 Gallon currently being set up. It has the basic lighting, heater and Tetra 10i pump. What should i stock it with that can handle the relatively high flow of the pump in the small tank? Keep in mind options that are easily available and Petco and Petsmart. I know its not the best supplier but down here, options are limited.

I was thinking about getting a single dwarf gouramis. It feels wrong to be asking this question because it seems so wrong, but i've heard some people have success with this.

What about turning it into an invert tank? Get some cherry or ghost shrimp, perhaps an electric blue crawfish and some snails? Tank would clean itself

I would rather have a mind opened by wonder than closed by belief.

i have the same setup. it used to have a male betta, a male guppy, and a female guppy. but i took out the betta because the guppies were too outgoing and i dont think he liked the water flow either. a gourami would have the same problem, anabantoids like calm water. a trio of guppies or a platy or two would be fine. all of your nano tank fish would be fine, such as CPDs, rasboras, etc. the filter is designed for up to 10 gallons, so your main problem is the fish being tossed about in the current. and if youre interested in plants, i have water sprite and anacharis in mine and they grow perfectly even under the incandescent light and high filtration
