First of all, can you put cherry barbs in a 10 gallon? If so, what would be the best number providing they would be the only fish to go in. Do you need a specific ratio of males to females?

I would say its doable. Also, I think a ratio of 1male:2females would work, with a minimum number of 6. I also might add a couple small cory cats like panda cories, maybe 3 of them, to keep the bottom clean.

| If you want cherries and only cherries i would put up to 5 or 6 in the tank. They get about 2 to 3 inches long so if it still looks like it is a little empty, put more plants in. It will make them feel mor at home and it will be very pleasing to the eye. P.S. Plastic or fabric works, too.
My tanks: 20 gallon 5 guppies, 5 platies, 1 cave tetras, 6 black neons. 20 gallon tall: 4 dwarf puffers, 2 bettas, 3 glofish, 2 kisser gourami, 3 cories, 2 honey gold gourami, 1 oto, 1 clown loach. 20 gallon tall:1 cichalid, 5 bluegill.
