OK. I want to set up a shrimp only tank. What kind of shrimp do you guys think would be easy to keep and breed(feeding some pufferfish). I plan on planting the tank like crazy. I want to keep some ghost shrimp. Any other shrimp suggested will be a great help. Thanks.
My tanks: 20 gallon 5 guppies, 5 platies, 1 cave tetras, 6 black neons. 20 gallon tall: 4 dwarf puffers, 2 bettas, 3 glofish, 2 kisser gourami, 3 cories, 2 honey gold gourami, 1 oto, 1 clown loach. 20 gallon tall:1 cichalid, 5 bluegill.

Red Cherry Shrimp. I hear they breed easily and you know they are beautiful!
Let's swim with the fishes!

| Just be sure to feed them while they are still small enough for the puffers to eat. Cherry shrimp are great though.

Could anyone show pics of them, too?

If you plan to feed these to your fish. They are around $3.00 each to buy at the store and they like very clean water. If I was you. I would look into ghost shrimp. cherry shrimp are not breed for fish food.

cherry shrimp ae not bred for fish food, but they certainly can be for dwarf puffers. Since the fish might be a little reluctant to eat adults, feed them smaller shrimp that adults have produced, but make sure you have a stable population- you won't want to have only a few of these beautiful shrimp!

| Puffers should be fed a varied diet of inverts, not just a single kind of invert. Also, I forgot to mention this, but wou will be spending a lot of money feeding your fish ghost shrimp because they will not successfully breed in freshwater. They have a larval stage, and require brackish water when they are larvae. Cherry shrimp are the cheapest and best option in the long run.
