I have little red/purrpel puff balls all over my tank they are even on snail and crab shells is this just algae?

| I recently had the same thing happen with green puff balls. They have a porus look and i think that they are ether SPS coral or sponges. They look cool so im not going to try to get rid of them.

| Definatly not algea. It is green and looks just like SPS coral. I removed a few and put them in other places and they have taken hold. They still have not branched or anything. and theres no air in them
|
