I recently lost one of my baby platys the water quality was
ammonia: .02 ppm
nitrite: 0
nitrate: ~ 20
P.H.: 8
The water quality is still the same the only difference is that the filter was turned on so I found the dead fish stuck to it.
55 gallon
13 zebra danios (adult)
2 harlequin rasboras
2 assassin snails
2 spotted danios
20 gallon
2 white cloud minnows
4 zebra danios (fry)
6 gallon
? snails
2.5 gallon: 3-5 unknown fry
bucket: zebra danio fry

maybe high ammonia? im not sure.. could be a birth defect as well. let us know how the rest are doing.

Is this the 6 gallon tank? If it is, that's your problem.

Its just a juvenile tank (.25 in) but I could move them to my 20 gallon this week.
55 gallon

Looks like one of my platy fry has a swim bladder problem. Is there anything I can do?

give it some peas then don't feed it for a few days. a lot of swim bladder issues are cause from constipation.
