My tank is looking bare and I want to add some more plants.  I have corkscrew vals in the back, but I still need some plants for the middle and front.  I currently have java moss, java ferns, corkscrew vals, two anubias nana, and a couple of cryptocoryne parva growing in my tank.  I have a little less than 2 watts per gallon and about 2 to 3 inches of gravel.  My pH is 8.0, Ammonia is 0, Nitrites are 0, and Nitrates are about 10.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks!

55 gallon:  7 Diamond Tetra, 5 Sterba's Cories, 3 Pearl Gourami, and 1 Bristlenose Pleco.
Planning to add:  12 Cherry Barbs

20 gallon:  7 Multi Shell Dwelling Cichlids

10 gallon:  3 Celestial Pearls Danios (Soon To Be 12), 5 Pygmy Cories, and ? Cherry Shrimp.

3 gallon:  1 Emerald Dwarf Rasboras, 3 Assassin Snails.

3 gallon:  1 Male Betta.

2.5 gallon:  3 Yellow Cherry Shrimp.

Which tank?  You might need deeper substrate.  What type of substrate do you have?  Consider Cryptocoryne wendtii, Aponogeton undulatus, Sagittaria subulata and even though this is considered a background plant I think given the amount of light you have Vallisneria spiralis might be a possibility too.  Good luck!  SGN

I looked at your suggests and I really like saggitaria subulata.  The problem is that no fish store around my house sells it.  Does anyone now of a good, reliable website that I can order it?  I also liked glosso but one website said that it was a pain to plant.  Is this true?

When I posted the question it was for my 55 gallon aquarium, but now that I think about it, I could really use a nice background plant for my 10 gallon aquarium.  I have tried to grow some sword plants but they died.  I also tried some vals in the corners of the tank, but they died too.  I think they died because the hood an light are set up in a way where little light reaches the corners.  I am however growing two anubias plants and some java moss that are doing great.  The other day I thought I should try to grow water sprite and was wondering if that would work?  The substrate is almost 2 inches thick and the water readings are the same as the 55.  The lighting is a little weird because it is LED lighting, but I think it is about 1.5 to 2 watts per gallon.  Any help would be great!  Thanks.

Here's a couple of online places I use.  The plants are always good quality, at least in my eyes.  I also have never had a problem with anything dying off after shipment from these places, and I think the prices are competitive to todays market at your local fish store.  I might be wrong but give them a look and decide for yourself.  Hope this helps you.

I have looked at both and they seem great.  The problem is that azgardens requires a minimun purchase of $35 so I will need to buy a lot more plants.  Anyone got any ideas?  Thanks!

I suggested AZ gardens to you.  Don't bother with them.  They, it turns out have a very bad reputation as to sending out plants, overcharging, and numerious other complants.  www.aquariumplants.com  and www.plantedaquariumscentral.com are two real good places to purchase from though.

I was going to go with AZ gardens but my mom suggested that I look at other websites to compare the price.  Good thing I did because I found aquariumplants.com and I was able to get a lot more plants for about $6 less.  I also looked at plantedaquariumscentral.com but they were a bit more expensive and didn't have as good of a selection as aquariumplants.com.  Thanks!!!
