| As my latest lesson in reading post here on the begginer section forum. To read with a bit of Humour or grain of salt. I read awhile back on snails are good for the tank and that it shows that you have good water quality. I found 2 snail in the tank 2 weeks after planting some new plants. OK? after reading some blogs. I left them alone. within a week I had over a dozen or more. All over the place. I started to kill some there seems to be some almost daily. I seem to have some control over them. my next purchase will be some loaches? I don't mind some. But too many looks ugly to me!

A good thing to do with plants that you get new is have them treated with the stuff called Had a Snail. There are alot of different kinds of loaches out there. I have several of them and I like them alot. Keep us up to date.

Had a Snail is effective, but you may want to try gentler methods, like the various snail-eating fish (plus, you have an excuse to get a new fish )
