These are some that she's interested in, stocked by our LFS. Her tank is 10 gallons, I think, she hasn't measured it for me yet.
I have a personal fondness for guppies, because they were the first fish I kept on my own, and there's the enjoyment of watching them grow and reproduce.
What would you choose?

I think guppies would be a good fish for them to start out with.

looks like the consensus so far on the poll is guppies.
I Never met a fish I did not like, especially wrapped in seaweed and a little soy sauce.
