I setup my 30gallon tank on 1/6/2012. All water tests good and normal. I purchased 2 Gouramis as my starter fish from Petsmart on 1/11/2012 Wed. One is silver blue color seems to be well, active, maybe little aggressive. The other has orange stripes and has been very shy sense day 1. It hides at bottom of tank behind plastic plants and will rarely let you see it. But, yesterday morning I noticed it seemed a different color not as bright and as I looked closer it has a blackish, greyish color under its belly where it's fin attaches and it goes up under its chin. I have a small book on setting up a freshwater aquarium, it has a list of common conditions. The symptoms seem to match China Disease, which it says is not very common and highly contagious and deadly. I have only had it for 6 days. They are the first and only fish in tank and I have no live plants. It's top fin doesn't seem to be moving much and it seems a little wobbly.
Thankful for any advise :-)
