i cant really tell whats a smudge on the glass and whats a spot on the fish.... I say do water changes more often, starting now. The tank is crazy overstocked and your nitrates are probably through the roof. The pH is also probably very low.

Yes -- please let us know what the pH, ammonia, nitrite and nitrates are. Numbers, please.

| Well I put some meds in the tank and the spots went away and I got him checked and he was just growing.... wow really scared me

also be careful with medication... using it for every problem, when a water change might have helped, could cause more.
