Any other barbs such as gold, calico, green tiger barbs, cherry barbs, and rosy barbs would be good. Algae eaters such as plecos would be good too. Guppies, angelfish, cichlids, gouramis, platies, and swordtails would not be compatible. Hope this helps!

You do not say how big the tank is and how many barbs you have in it.this info will help others to better help you.

| Tiger barbs are best kept in large groups of about 12 or more. From their perspective, there are Tiger barbs and targets. SGN

bfrasco (3/11/2012) I have a 36 gallon bowfront tank and as of right now i have 8 barbs,2 spotted rapeal, 2 giant danio, 2 balloon mollies, 2 neon. I would say with the fish(especially the rapheals) that you ore on the verge of or are already at max for that tank.
