Well as soon as I cut down my Angels from 6 to 3, it became quite clear two almost immediately paired off and started beating up the other one.  Three was obviously a crowd.  It got so bad I had to remove #3, and now I'm down to a pair. I may be dealing with babies next...have to brush up on making brine shrimp..!

Good luck on the pair bonding. Sometimes it helps to have that outsider to spur the love LOL.

I miss the shoals of Angelfish swimming together....why did I get rid of my 55 gallon a few years ago?!   I'd like either a 75 or 100 gallon. The 75 actually looks a little wider than the 100 gallon I saw at the store - could it be?  One thing I didn't like with my 55 gallon was that it wasn't wide enough.

As far as hatching brine shrimp, I can't recommend the brine shrimp hatchery dish from brineshrimpdirect.com enough. You don't need a heat source, air pump or light. The only thing you may have to do is add some baking soda to your salt water mixture to raise the PH. I've been using one for about 4 months now and it's like magic. Eggs go in, shrimp hatch. That's it.
