| I too am new to the hobby but I only have a 10-gallon set up that was given to me and a 20-gallon I have recently set up. I will be setting up a 75-gallon freshwater community tank soon. I didn't know anything about being an aquarist. I went to all the libraries in the Columbus, Ohio area and read every book I could find before I really got started. The public library is a great resource. I certainly helps if you have access to several branches since some of them don't have much of a selection of aquarium related material. I also found copies of Aquarium Fish International which proved extemely helpful. I have pretty much exhausted all the printed materials in my area but I feel pretty confident about what I need to do to be successful. I also have tried to build a good relationship with the Aquarium Adventure store which is just couple of miles from where I live. Good luck with you efforts and I hope all goes well for you.
