This year im renevating my pond into a pond tub instead of the liner.

Last year In the pond i hade 15 Comets goldfish, 1 red ryukin, Water hyacinth and water lettuce. In the winter I moved the Plants and fish to my 20 gallon aquarium. The plants grew way to much so i threw them outside to die. I decided on selling the goldfish becasue I wanted to raise guppies. Now that my fun of breeding guppies is over im going backto the pond. I was thinking of getting 15 comets (not the good quality ones just the feeder fish) a shubunkin, maybe 2 Ranchus, and Mr.Blubs will be returning back as well. cAn i add all of these fish?

The pond is a 60 gallon tub.... Heres a pic

I was then thinking of adding 2 water lillies for the deep section and a carpet of water hyacinth, Water lettuce, and fairy moss in the left side. I am also thinking of adding some type of marginal plant for the other side but i have to go to Pisces to see the types.

In the end there will be 19 goldfish and probley anwhere from 10-20 plants.

Is this all possible to do?

Thanks for the help!

That's a LOT of fish for that small a pond.

I know they're feeder fish, but it's not really fair to them to put them in that small a pond.

I would stick with fancies if you are set on goldfish in there.

Oh yeah that is a lot. Ha didnt notice. I think i will narrow it down to 10 comets. Most of them will die which then i will have maybe 6?

So 10 Comets, 1 Shubunkin and either 2 ranchus or 2 Fantails...

Which ones are better to have?

Also I would love to stck to the fancies but I dont have the space to over winter the fancy varities.

Your fish deserve the best possible care regardless if they are feeders.  Why not start with a couple and see how it goes rather than starting with 10 knowing that some will die off?  I personally wouldn't put more than two small goldfish in a 60-gallon pond.  Small fish grow very fast outdoors.  Leave plenty of room for plants. Small ponds also get hot in the summer and overcrowding is a sure way to lose your fish.
